TAQNYA 2010

It is announced that the TAQNYA 2010 – 6th Annual Communication and Information Technologies – will be held on 21st – 24th, July 2010 in Tripoli, Libya at the Tripoli International Fair, specialized in the fields of communication and information technologies and is regarded as main annual event in Libya.

TAQNYA 2010 is organized by GTA (the General Telecommunication Authority of Libya) and will be held in Tripoli (Libya )

The main goals of organizing TAQNYA 2010, are to provide:

• An opportunity for local interested companies and bodies to meet the international manufacturers and service providers
• Unveil new projects and plans for the telecom and IT sectors in Libya.
• A chance to discover the trends of Telecom and IT sectors in Libya.
• A meeting point between the purchasing dept. at the local Telecom and IT companies with the international companies.

The First Annual Exhibition for Communication & Information Technology TAQNYA 2005, was held under the auspice of The General Post and Telecommunication Company, concluded with much success. The conference will provide a venue for the exchange of ideas and cooperation among Libyan doctors from all over the world.

This year’s theme is: Primary Health Care – Development & Reconstruction

The Conference is organised by the General People’s Committee for Health and Environment, Waatusimu Charity Association and the State Secretariat for Immigration and Expatriate, this event will help to strengthen the links and communication of Libyan doctors around the world.

The conference agenda will cover; primary health care, family medicine, medical statistics, quality of health services, infectious disease and tropical medicine. Libyan medical professionals from abroad will share their expertise with doctors in Libya in the latest in scientific and technological practice as well as introducing new concepts in hospital management, quality and patient safety, medical education and primary health care in Libya. A further aim is to enable doctors, according to their specialties, to see patients and perform operations in Libyan hospitals.

The scientific committee will contact all the invited delegates who are legible to attend the conference according to the specification by the organising committee.
