Every Friday afternoon between 1PM – 4PM, Al Waddan Hotel offers a great day out for the entire family which includes animation for children, a clown and magician with music and entertainment on it’s beautiful Al Midan Terrace!!!
On these days there will also be a special corner for kids, a buffet lunch for the adults, including everyone’s favorite dishes and sweets served in the elegance of the Al Midan Restaurant.

Children 0 – 6 years Free of charge
Children 6 – 12 years Lyd 20

We went along to the Al Waddan last Friday to check out this event.
As it was, there was no event – no entertainment for the kids, nothing.
The buffet was reasonable, with several starters, main course dishes and desserts on offer, but IMO very overpriced at 35 Lyd per head.

We just spoke to Al Waddan Hotel, the reason the event was not organized last Friday is because it was raining and they could not use the Al Middan terrace for entertainment like they usually do. But from now they have amended their event to take place inside in case it is raining again.
