Caffe Casa opens downtown Tripoli

Caffe Casa locates itself at a historical area downtown beside the historical Clock Tower behind Al-Saraya museum and historical building of the Central Bank of Libya.

This gorgeous cafe opened a mere month ago and boasts a friendly, english-speaking staff that will serve you a selection of their delicious bakery goods and cakes, along with a wide range of drinks.

Caffe Casa is also offering wireless internet throught the café, and hosts a designated family-restricted area on its first floor.

This Café’ seems very promising indeed, we recommend you hurry there and see for yourselves!

Habahan, a new oriental style café

Habahan Café is a new oriental style café in town, it has launched only a week ago in Zawiyat Al Dahmani area (Located on map blow).

It looks very promising and the owners carefully picked their items to suit the mood for an Arabic atmosphere.

Their menu includes:
Muffins – Sandwitches – Mahalabeya – Natural Juices – Carrot cake and much more.

There are stands for smokers in front of the café as smoking is not allowed inside.

“Al-Hofra” seafood restaurants reopen

This is to follow up on our previous post about “Al-Hofra” being shut, thankfully the seafood restaurants area was re-opened after being closed down for about two weeks for unknown reasons.

We would like to indicate once again that “Al-Hofra” is a tourist attraction and a frequently visited place by the locals.

O2 Café reopens with an attractive new style

O2 Café reopens with an attractive new style after making significant changes, providing a larger welcoming space for visitors’ comfort.

the space inside the cafe was expanded and improved with new tables and chairs sets, toilet facilities are now available inside the café and the veranda outside looks much better.

O2 has been popular for its beautiful sea view and friendly service, and now you can also enjoy the new feel of the café and menu improvements.

“Al-Hofra” seafood restaurants shut

Al-Hofra means “the hole” in Arabic, and in Libya it is a place where you can find several seafood restaurants along Al-Fattah road by the sea, the place have been shut for unknown reasons except that we can confirm that they were not health-related.

As far as we can tell they have been closed for a week now, and there are no information regarding the re-opening date.

The restaurants area was one of Tripoli’s tourist attractions and a frequently visited place by the locals for it’s delicious fresh seafood meals.
