The Casa Lounge Gallery is exhibiting paintings by the well known Libyan artist Bashir Hamouda. The exhibition will start on 19 Nov. until 2 Dec. 2009.
More about Bashir Hamouda:
Hamouda was born in 1948 in the old town of Tripoli. Graduated from Rome Academy of fine Arts, panting Dep. 1974. Granted a Scholarship for higher education and obtained the Doctorate at the university of Budapest 1990.
Organized Participated in art exhibitions, and held personal Art shows in Libya, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria, Syria, Morocco, France, Philippines, Algeria, Spain, Poland, Hungary, and Tunis.
He received the following prizes: Libyan Section in Biennale of Alexandria 1976. Unknown soldiers prize Rome 1974 The Golden sail at the Kuwait Biennale of Arab Art 1977
