Ace Hardware opens a store in Tajura

Ace Hardware International is a division of the largest hardware franchise company in the world. They recently opened their first out of six 14000 sqm stores, in Tajoura.

The store – a.k.a Al-Sarraya – was designed according to ACE hardware standards to offer goods fitting customers’ needs, in a convenient environment. Planning to present and sell 15 categories including about 17000 quality items for households, professional workers, companies and contractors to solve technical problems in homes and work. These categories include:

  • Lawn & Garden
  • Outdoor decoration
  • Barbecue & camping
  • Car accessories
  • Hand & power tools
  • Measuring tools
  • Safety goods
  • Plumbing, faucets & bath accessories
  • Electrical devices & accessories
  • Home storage & decoration solutions
  • House and kitchen goods
  • Hard wares
  • Cleaning solutions
  • Glues, scotches & silicon
  • Paint for different purposes

    The company is called ACE and it’s American and planning to open 10 more stores in the next 10 years and the Libyan guys who brought the company most of them are my friends and I was closely following the progress from the start and the store was supposed to open earlier but luckily it’s now open.

    That’s good. This is a good start for DIY market and I guess a direct result of the removal of Souk Al-Thalat market. Before you have to dig deep into of the rotten and broken road there, for some basic DIY items. It will appeal to a wider consumer but with a price tag to match I guess. Surely worth a visit..thanks for Sharing :)
