This is to follow up on our previous post about “Al-Hofra” being shut, thankfully the seafood restaurants area was re-opened after being closed down for about two weeks for unknown reasons.
We would like to indicate once again that “Al-Hofra” is a tourist attraction and a frequently visited place by the locals.
Enjoy!
Hofra on the map:

I was really disappointed when a couple of weeks ago I went there hoping to feast and found out it was closed… Now I can enjoy seafood again!…
Oh here’s a tip some people might find helpful on how to know if the fish is fresh or not before it’s cooked, if the eye of the fish looks cloudy that means it’s not fresh, but if the membrane looks clear then it’s fresh!
i enjoy going with my friend s allot in that place it’s so cool and great restaurants
I’m very happy for this, I wished to visit it one day.

We were really disappointed to see that all place was demolished to the ground!
My wife and I were enjoying bi-weekly lunches with the friends in these restaurants. The Fruits Di Mare selection was also better (from our POV) than in new marquee market
Does anyone actually happen to know the story behind this demolishing? Where the restaurants and shops moved or simply closed?
Thanks for shedding the light on it!
